Hello, my friends often call me Digger. I love to find old bottle dumps and privy vaults where folks from the middle 20th century on back, tossed out all their non combustible trash.  Why, you ask, because I collect old soft drink bottles, particularly the ones from my home town of Dayton, OH.  The hand blown sodas of the 1800's as well as the machine made crown tops of the 1900's are collected by hobbyists across the Nation.

 

I also collect the crates, signs, ephemera etc. related to Dayton soft drink manufacturers.  If I had room for it all, I'd keep all of my finds.  As space is limited, I often sell those bottles I do not collect, such as dairy bottles, beers, bottles from other towns outside my collectng interest, etc.
